I am having a very similar problem and don’t know where to start. I don’t think I am able to do any of these two exercises you show here so what would be another way to work on this?
Start fully with your upper back and pulling, our banded push pull exercise would be ideal to start with
After lingering pain in front of my shoulder, was diagnosed with joint degeneration (nice way of saying early arthritis). Physio helped, and I’ve continued the exercises, but now want to strengthen my shoulders. Would these exercises help me?
Absolutely! You’d be surprised at how many symptoms happen just from lack of regular full joint movement
As a breath coach I use this so much when helping people rehab, practice yoga, or similar.

Love DDP, I’m actually referencing back pain and how using controlled drills all the time without incorporating balance leads people to feeling like they have a weak core

Thank U Jenny and Tom.. I have been watching many videos to resolve (obviously none of Orthos/Chiropractors/physios helped) the crunchy painful feel on Middle of left scapula (near rhomboid minor). I saw all the winged scapula though my scapula is not bulged out but i feel it got hurt during some small workout had been doing. With Lying on back and Left arm up and down makes Sound near rhomboid and body shakes when scapula abducts and reaches it. Had severe pain and i resolved 50% with some thoracic exercises but still wish to cure it comoletely. Being a desk job engineer, I had Right cervical-Trapezius junction impingment there. on touching it gets painful shooting shock. Trying all Band exercises but right hand mid back pain also develops after workout but shock pain on cervical-upper trap is 10% reduced. I do most of your movements already for neck and shoulders and thoracic area. Please suggest anything I can do here.. I believe I also deserve to move painfree and enjoy working out and taking my cat up painfree 😔 Thank You so much for reading and taking time to reply. May God bless you.

Im only 54 and havent been able to put my clothes on in the morning 6 years without pain every day btw no break cant bend forward have to put shoes on side ways knees hurt back hurts iv just signed up to ur emails hoping they will help somewhere alomg the line .. ps was told i has a weak hip aswell.
Definitely getting your hips moving better will be key! Any of the 7 days drills you find challenging make sure to keep working at them daily 💪🏼

Great one to set as a goal is the side plank march 💪🏼
That also forces each side of the body to develop holding the weight of the other side of the body. So when you're on two feet it's much easier. Also, you should stretch that way.
